About mob respawning

Hey about mobs respawning is it possible that mobs don’t respawn until a player leaves the area. In my view it is bad (like i killed a drakonite and I went to kill Drakon but suddenly drakonite respawn. It is an exampple)

We can probably increase/randomize the mob respawn timers, but I think we will keep the current functionality. Otherwise it can get too complex in a multiplayer game.

There is a lot of open space all over, i wouldnt mind seeing the clusters dispersed a bit more to help. For now i wait for a dragon or whatever to seperate itself enough for me to get close enough to kite it away from the group.

i also do that but at that time i thought it will be like convenient and fun

100% it would be better in most instances, having to tap w and hope you dont pull more than 1 can be work sometimes. Also, ive surpassed Zator in gold >:D

hey wanna pk with me

iono, ive seen like 3 people all day and you were two of them lol

terrible idea. no space for pvp. you can already kite dragons currently. you need to get a bit close to them on the hilll tho.

Theres massive amounts of space for pvp, spreading mobs out a bit wont hurt that. not to mention im not saying make 1 mob every 50-100 meters. They can still be grouped, just needs a lil bit more space between spawn spots.

and where do you expect to put cottages then, and how do you expect to travel and not be a pain to do so?’

hey the island will increase in land i think

youre acting like the maps already super crowded or thousands of players are currently playing. There is PLENTY of room for all of it. not only that, but the only reason to have a house right now is the alchemist, so everyones going to build right around there anyway. There is SO MUCH SPACE, plenty for pvp, mob spreading and not putting it on the roads, unless they want them to be. like the frogs at the pond. theyre all crammed on the beach side in one spot, and theres none further down on the end where they could put a few, still leaving the path on the right completely open.

can you explain last part in a bit more detail?

It would be easier to show you honestly, but the pond to the west, on the south side is a cluster of frogs and gators, but theres nothing further down the line or on the west side of the pond, nor the north or east. the path runs along the north. Im actually for mobs on the paths to higher level areas, they act as a skill check to make sure youre ready to move on. That needs to be paired with an aggro range though where if youre say 5 levels higher than the mob, they stop aggroing you

am coming online. come to town.

we are sitting in town

i agree with you on that area. but i dont agree on other areas except the nothern peninsula. there can be more things there. last point i also agree with. good suggestion to resolve it being tiring to journey
