Is the game cross-platform? Is it compatible on mobile/tablet, etc?

Eris Online is currently on available via Web browser for PCs and laptops. It should work on any operating system and most modern web browsers.

In the future, we plan to release desktop clients for PC, Linux and Mac as well as mobile application for Apple and Android.

Is it possible to be playable on mobile in the future?

Yes, but for now we are focusing on compatibility with laptops and PCs.

Since im more often being outside i normally play with my phone because its easier to carry rather than a laptop so im kinda hoping that this game will have a cross-platform between most device

If you have a new phone, the game should work on your phone’s browser.

Eventually, we will release it on Google/Apple app stores etc., but it’s just not a high priority right now unfortunately.

I actually pretty curious about this kind of thing, how the developers gonna manage later on after the first level of the game are released. It sure gonna attract lots of people when the game bout to release. And when it release how can the developer make sure and prevent the game server to not crashed? I kinda new to these things, so y’know.

Yes, the plan is everyone will be able to play via browser if they choose. Optionally, we may release a desktop application later, which will have better performance. However, both desktop and browser players will be able to play on the same server.

We’re also not aiming for a big release really, instead the plan is to build the game in public and hopefully attract more and more players such as yourself over time. This will make it easier to manage as we will not have to deal with a huge influx of players all at once.
